Disc Granulator Overview

The disc granulator adopts advanced design and high quality materials, featuring high efficiency and durability. The disk corners of the pelletizing disc adopt rounded structure, and the pelletizing rate is up to 93% or more.

The disc granulator starts smoothly and reduces the impact force, thus prolonging the service life of the equipment. The pelletizing disc disk bottom is added with multiple radial steel plates, which strengthens the sturdiness of the equipment and ensures that it will never be deformed.

The base is designed to be thickened and weighted without the need of ground bolt fixing to ensure smooth operation. The main gear is quenched by high frequency, and the service life is doubled.

Disc granulator has the advantages of even granulation, high rate of ball formation, smooth operation, easy to operate, long service life, etc. It is an important equipment in compound fertilizer production line and cat litter production line.

Disc granulator working principle

1. Drive transmission: the main motor drives the pulley and belt, and the power is transferred to the pinion through the reducer. The pinion gear meshes with the big gear fixed at the bottom of the disk and works in the opposite direction. The big gear is mounted on the main shaft fixed on the adjusting disk of the frame through reasonable design to support the work of the whole pelletizing disk.

2. Material granulation: the material enters into the granulating disk through the feeding system. Under the action of rotating pelletizing disk and spraying device, the materials are gradually bonded together to form spherical particles. The rotating motion of the pelletizing disk ensures that the materials are evenly distributed in the disk, with high pelletizing rate.

3. Automatic clearing: The upper part of the granulating disk is designed with an automatic clearing device, which can prevent the material from sticking on the wall of the disk, reduce the cleaning work and improve the service life of the equipment.

4. Continuous production: with the continuous rotation of the motor and the continuous entry of materials, the granulation process can be carried out continuously to meet the needs of mass production.

Disc granulator structure

1. Frame part: the frame supports the transmission and rotation part of the whole equipment and bears large load. The frame is made of high-quality carbon steel channel steel welded, after strict quality certification and specific technical requirements to ensure its reliable use.

2. Adjusting part: the center of gravity of the granulating disk is installed on the adjusting part. The adjusting part is made of high quality carbon steel plate and channel steel welded, after strict quality certification to ensure that it meets the use requirements.

3. Transmission part: the transmission part is the core of the equipment. The motor and reducer are mounted on the transmission regulating frame, and they are all exempted products which have passed ISO/9001 quality system certification. The electric motor drives the reducer through the belt pulley and triangle belt, and then the small gear drives the big gear to make the granulating disk work. The large and small gears are quenched by high-frequency quenching treatment, and the service life is twice as long as the original one. The pelletizing disk is fixed on the active shaft on the adjusting plate, and the coupling part of the column head adopts taper fit, which is reasonable in design.

4. Pelletizing disk part: The corner of pelletizing disk adopts overall arc design, the pelletizing rate is as high as 93% or more. The bottom of the disk is strengthened by several radial steel plates, which is durable and never deformed.

5. Automatic clearing part: this part is installed on the top of the granulating disk, which is a frame structure, equipped with automatic clearing plate, which is convenient to clear the materials stuck on the disk wall during the production process, improve the service life of the equipment and save labor.

Through the above design and structure, the disc granulator not only improves the production efficiency and product quality, but also ensures the stability and durability of the equipment, which is suitable for small batch compound fertilizer production.
